explanation of a dragon

There has been a dragon sighting in the park. All news channels were here but the dragon had killed everyone on site. The others had not been spotted because they were hiding in trees and in buildings.

The dragon was stomping all over the place, its armoured skin could not be damaged, even by bullets. It was still waiting to attack when a policemen shot it. The dragon looked at him with anger in it’s eyes. They policemen ran and ran but it caught them. Blood was all over the place.

“Wait what is it doing? Run! It’s coming after us nooo! We just saw a brave reporter filmed right next to the beast and he has been eaten.” said Jack the news reporter.

We were hiding on the rooftop of a building. We just got in before it saw us. Then it landed and saw a tasty cow. It’s mouth began to water. Water came out  like a waterfall. It ate the cow and flew back to the city. Then appeared a man that still makes swords for a living. He had been making the same sword for six or seven years.

Then he ran up to the dragon with the sword in his hand and stabbed the dragon. It got angrier but the swords handle snapped. It’s neck had a weak spot.  The dragon ate the sword maker. Then the government made a robot called T4 and a back up robot named T5. These are robots that were made to take down the dragon however they had one problem: they weren’t fireproof. T1, T2 and T3 all couldn’t stop the fire breathing dragon.

The dragon destroyed two major cities in the time of three days. It’s gone into hiding in a cave. The people are safe for a little while. Everyone was thankful thinking the dragon was gone for good but when it came out of it’s cave, they all screamed and ran away!

The dragons hunger was growing. It ran after the people and tried to eat them. Then T4 hit the beast and it fell to ground. The dragon then got back up and it looked at the robot. It let out a big powerful fire blast. T4 was going down but it got one last punch on the beast before it fell. The egg the dragon had laid in the cave had cracked open. The dragon got so mad that it let out a blast of fire far more powerful than a volcano. The blast nearly destroyed half the city. Bang the robot fired the dragon out of the sky. It’s babies cried as they saw their mother fall. She got back up and saw T5.

She wanted to take T5 down with her mighty jaws. Her jaws were sharper than daggers. T5 punched the dragon then the dragon ripped the arm off T5. T5 attacked the dragon with a flame thrower. The dragon shot back a flame ball at T5. They were an even match until bang the dragon let out another fireball and T5 went down. T5 got back up and saw the weak spot on the dragon's neck and punched it. The dragon went down. She then got up and put her babies on her back and flew away.

When it was flying over another city the dragon got shot down. The babies landed safely on a mattress someone left on the top of a building.The babies were crying thinking their mother was dead.However, their mother had landed safely, spread out on top of three different buildings. She got up and collected her babies. They went to rest in her cave to sleep for two years.  Everyone came out of hiding again. The were very happy that the dragon was really gone. The  babies woke up and left the cave angry. The police found them and because they were still babies they were trained not to kill like their mother and be nice instead.           

Decimals

We were learning about decimals it was challenging. The sums were a bit hard and took some time to finish the answer. I need more practise.

All about me

Hi, my name is Haarera and I go to Glen Innes School. My friends are Liam, Kane, Munokoa, Moko, Anau and William.  We do lots of things together. We play games and we climb trees. When it is time for class we go to class and work really hard so we can get good grades. I like doing lots of different things in class.

I am a very good boy and I am always happy. I am the only boy in my family. I have two lovely sisters. My family are always good to me so I always try to be good to them too.

I have two dogs and I love them both . They are the best pets I ever have. They always do what I say.  They are a part of my family. I know they love me too because I see it in their eyes. They are good dogs we often take them for a walk in the park.

When I grow up I want to be a vet because I really like animals.I would like to be a vet because I am good with animals.

We had  our netbooks for two terms.  When we didn't have a netbook it was much harder to do work. It is much easier to make connection with other people on the blog. We can share what have they written. We can learn more faster  in less time. We can create a new post for the blog every time. We can comment on other peoples blogs too.

Having a netbook is alot of fun. It is very different from writing in  exercise books. My work on the netbook is very neat and tidy. My spelling is always correct and I finish my work in time.

 I use my netbook to learn new stuff, to create new stuff and to share all my stuff.

How to paint an abstract art

Materials:
Paper
Paint

Equipment:Pencil
RubberRulerPaint brush

Steps:
Draw a border on the paper.
Draw 5 fruits and draw.
5 colours

How to make pancakes

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
2 eggs
1 ½ cups of milk
½ teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of butter or vegetable oil
5 tablespoons of sugar

Utensils:
1. plate
2. spoons
3. mixer
4. pan
5. spatula
6. bowl

Method:
1. Crack eggs into a bowl and beat until fluffy.
2. Melt the butter into a bowl.
3. Add the butter and milk to the flour and mix.
4. Heat the frying pan to the middle low flame.
5. Pour about 3 tablespoons to ¼ cup batter of a large spoon.
6. Cook for about 2 minutes or until golden.
7. Cook the other side until golden and remove.
